It is reported that，Xiaomi's new battery will be mass-produced in the second half of next year，並表示手機高矽負極時代已來。 從這個時間節奏來看，小米新電池可能會在MIX 5、小米12至尊版或者小米13上首發應用。
按照小米介紹，新電池能量密度可達740Wh/L，並解決了隨矽比例提高而被逐漸放大的低首效、高膨脹、迴圈衰減等問題。
這一次是極片補鋰技術首次應用於手機電池，also，小米還首創了MCP手機電池封裝技術，可大幅減少電池高度充分利用空間並提高安全性。
