Google rolls out a new update for Android TV,That is, it brings a new look to the smart TV operating system–Almost exactly the same user interface as the company's latest Chromecast Google TV。
The new interface makes the appearance of Android TV more consistent with Google TV,It added scrolling rotation of featured content at the top of the menu and abandoned the oversized icon to make more minimalist tag concessions。
However, there are still some differences in the user interfaces of Chromecast's Google TV and the updated Android TV.。The new Android TV menu has three main tabs:home,For quick access to apps and channels;application,As a dedicated place to find user applications;and a brand new Discover tag,It will provide personalized recommendations for TV shows and movies as well as popular content from Google–Similar to the For You tag on Google TV。
on the contrary,The Google TV user interface uses the aforementioned For You tag as its home screen,Then divide the specific content into special programs、Movies and real-time tags,Instead of collecting them all in one place。It also makes it easier for users to get purchased content through a library tag,And this is something Android TV doesn't have。

It is reported that,The updated Android TV will be in the United States today、Australia、Canada、Launched on Android TV OS devices in Germany and France,It will be promoted to more countries in the coming weeks。
